Congratulations to Rafael Serrano for coming into first place. Jim Harris came in second. Lynda Wallack came in third. See above for the rest of the results. The top four players chopped the pot, then played for position.
We had 34 players, with 3 reentries. Robert Schamp/Barbara Munday won $220 in the 50/50. John McCarthy, Rafael Serrano, William Gomory, Craig Roberts and Pat Messier each won $25 gift cards.
They are allowing us to do high hands again. Both pocket cards have to play. Aces full are minimum to qualify. Only one high hand will be awarded at the end of the night. If the player with the high hand is no longer in attendance, they can have it mailed to them or pick it up at their next event. Four of a kind will be awarded $50 gift cards. If the high hand is only aces full, the player will win a $25 gift card. Debra Rogers won $50 GC with four kings.
Well, the Championship event is set. Congratulations to the 28 players that qualified. Each player must advise if they plan to attend by January 1st or their seat will be reassigned.
The Championship event will be Saturday, January 09, 2021. It will be held at 5:00 pm. All future events will start at 5pm so we can have additional tables.
All players will be asked to pay $25.00 to cover the Derby Lane Fees. For the add-on, each player will receive an additional 4,500 chips added to their total that they earned to qualify for the tournament. You can go onto our donation page and click on the $25 Tournament of Champions button to pay online, or bring the $25 to me when you arrive. I plan to give out your seat assignments as well when you arrive.
We will again have cookies and chips at the event. We will not have door prizes, high hand or reentries for this Championship event.
2021 Events: February 06th, April 10th, June 5th, August 7th, October 2nd, December 04th. The tournaments will begin at 5:00pm. The Tournament of Champions event will be Saturday, January 08, 2022.
Due to Covid-19, we are limited on players, so no new players we be accepted at this time.
